AIPEI suspension scooter

A sample review is most useful when it produces a clear record: what was reviewed, which changes were requested and what still needs confirmation before production.

Agree on the sample baseline

Before the sample is prepared, record the model code, motor, battery option, finish, branding and included accessories. Note any differences between the sample and the proposed production version.

Record the review consistently

Use the same checklist for every sample. Document appearance, assembly observations, component references, folding mechanism, display, lighting, controls and packaging as applicable. Include clear photos and the sample reference in your feedback.

Make requested changes specific

Separate accepted details, requested changes and questions. Replace broad feedback such as “change the finish” with a marked photo, reference color or written description. Ask the manufacturer to confirm feasibility, cost and timing for each requested change.

Check the paperwork as well as the product

Ask for the agreed specification, carton details, accessory list and model-specific documentation needed for your purchasing review. Confirm which documents will be available before shipment and who is responsible for supplying them.

Keep a written approval record

Before confirming the production order, collect the approved configuration, requested changes, packaging artwork and agreed inspection criteria in one record. Make the sample reference and revision easy to identify.

Close the review with three lists
  • Accepted: details approved for the order.
  • Change requested: details requiring a confirmed revision.
  • Open: questions that still need an answer.

This guide helps organize a purchasing conversation. Product testing and acceptance criteria should be agreed for the specific model, configuration and market.
